Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Windows For Less website, what they do and how long they last. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites work and remember information.
Cookies we set
We use a small number of first-party cookies for marketing attribution — understanding which campaign or advert brought you to the site so we can measure and improve our marketing. These are set when you land on the site.
| Cookie | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
wml_* (first-party) |
Store marketing-attribution values from the page you arrived on — UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, term, content), advertising click identifiers (such as Google and Meta ad click ids) and the landing page — so your enquiry can be correctly attributed. | 90 days |
The same attribution values may also be stored in your browser’s local storage as a best-effort backup so they survive you navigating around the site and returning later.
Tag manager and analytics cookies
We may later enable a tag manager (Google Tag Manager) to run analytics and advertising tags. When that happens, those tags can set their own cookies — for example Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) used to measure site usage, and advertising cookies (such as Meta’s _fbp/_fbc) used to measure ad performance. Until the tag manager is enabled, these cookies are not set. This policy will be updated with the specific cookies once tagging is live.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Blocking the wml_* cookies will not stop the site working or prevent you from submitting the form — it only affects how accurately we can attribute your enquiry.
